1. Services and menu
Caterer will provide the agreed menu, preparation, transport, buffet setup, service equipment, staffed service, and post-service breakdown described in the attached proposal.
List each menu item, beverage, dietary variation, service style, portion assumption, and any approved substitutions.
2. Included items
List staffing hours, disposables, serviceware, linens, rentals, delivery radius, setup, breakdown, and other included items.
3. Client responsibilities
Client will provide accurate venue information, access at the agreed time, required approvals, suitable utilities, safe loading access, final guest count, dietary information, and a venue contact.

5. Changes
Changes to menu, guest count, service time, venue, rentals, or staffing must be approved in writing. Caterer may adjust price and timing before accepting a change.
6. Cancellation
Insert a locally reviewed cancellation schedule that states what happens to the deposit and any committed food, labor, rental, travel, and administrative costs at each cancellation date.
7. Rescheduling
A reschedule is subject to Caterer availability, written approval, revised pricing, vendor charges, and a new event date. State whether and how prior payments transfer.
8. Events outside reasonable control
Insert a locally reviewed clause addressing events outside either party's reasonable control, notice, mitigation, rescheduling, refunds, and costs already committed.
9. Dietary requests and allergen communication
Client must disclose known dietary requests and allergies by the final guest-count deadline. Caterer will communicate known ingredients and reasonable controls but cannot promise an allergen-free environment unless separately agreed and operationally supported.
10. Leftovers
State whether leftovers may be released, who supplies containers, when custody transfers, and whether food held outside Caterer control will be discarded.
11. Property and damage
Client is responsible for loss or damage to Caterer-owned or rented property caused by guests, venue personnel, or conditions outside Caterer control, except ordinary wear.
12. Governing terms and disputes
Insert governing law, venue, notice, mediation, attorney-fee, and dispute provisions reviewed for the business and event jurisdiction.
