Food Truck Event Opportunity Scorecard
Compare a festival, market, pop-up, or mobile food booking against your own financial targets and operating constraints. See the projected economics, break-even attendance, decision score, and the claims that still need verification.
A high score is not a promise. It only means the opportunity fits the assumptions and targets entered here.
Sales scenario
Use prior paid attendance when available.
Your orders divided by total attendance.
Enter only a written minimum or subsidy.
Event costs and decision targets
Include prep, travel, load, and close.
Power, ice, rentals, permits, lodging.
Opportunity quality
Rate what you know today. A low score should trigger a question or negotiation, not a more optimistic sales forecast.
How the score is calculated
Fifty-five points come from projected margin, profit against your minimum, and profit per paid staff hour. Forty-five points come from audience fit, organizer reliability, operational fit, repeat value, forecast evidence, and weather or cancellation protection. These weights favor cash contribution while still recognizing risk and strategic value.
The recommendation also checks the review flags. A promising score with poor evidence should remain conditional until the organizer supplies records or stronger written terms. Save multiple CSV scenarios when attendance, capture rate, or weather exposure is uncertain.
