Food Truck and Catering Opening and Closing Checklist

Run a consistent pre-service and end-of-shift check across food safety, equipment, inventory, cash, cleaning, security, and team handoff.

This is an editable operations aid, not a substitute for your approved food safety plan or local inspection records. Entries are not saved or submitted.

A checklist works only when an exception changes the plan

Checking a box should mean the task was completed and any unacceptable result was corrected or escalated. Record the reading, shortage, equipment fault, or site problem while it is visible. A short, specific handoff is more useful than a complete checklist that hides an unresolved risk.
